Barbara Edwards Contemporary, Calgary is pleased to present artist Shawn Evans in conversation with a critical mentor for his practice, Mark Mullin.

Mullin's influence in the Calgary community is profound and far-reaching. As a well-respected practicing artist and painting and drawing instructor at the Alberta College of Art and Design, Mark's passion for painting has had a lasting impact on ACAD alumni. As a former student, Shawn Evans regards Mullin as a supportive mentor. The conversation between Mullin and Evans will offer unique insight into the maturation of Evan's painting practice as a developing artist.
