Laura Millard in Conversation with Medrie MacPhee

Barbara Edwards Contemporary, Toronto is pleased to present Laura Millard in conversation with Medrie MacPhee. An artist, writer and educator, Laura Millard has taught at the Alberta College of Art and Design, Concordia University, Georgian College, and the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design. Millard has exhibited in numerous public and commercial galleries across Canada, the United States, Sweden, Korea, and China. An active writer, Millard has published essays on contemporary and historical artists. She has lectured at numerous institutions across the country including the Banff Centre for the Arts, the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design, and the Art Gallery of Ontario. She is an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Art at OCAD University.

A longtime supporter of MacPhee's work, Millard's insight offers an artist's perspective on MacPhee's latest body of work.
