DIANE LANDRY

18 MARCH to 23 APRIL

Barbara Edwards Contemporary is pleased to welcome Diane Landry to our roster. 2015 recipient of the prestigious John Simon Guggenheim Fellowship, Landry's work was recently featured in the internationally touring exhibition, Oh Canada, organized by the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art.

For over three decades, Landry has been concerned with a multi-disciplinary practice that investigates the transformative properties of light, sound, and motion. She proposes complex reconsiderations of beauty in the mundane. Landry's upcoming exhibition at Barbara Edwards Contemporary, Toronto presents a selection of works including Solo Knight III, a kinetic sculpture created from repurposed common household objects and materials such as water bottles and mineral oil.
